J is for Jump Combination

A jump combination, well, it kind of explains itself.  It's where you do some kind of jump and then add another jump to the first one.  A jump combination can be as simple as waltz-jump side toe hop, waltz jump.  (Those jumps are very basic if you don't know)   Or  it can be as complicated as triple axel, quadruple toe loop.  Yes, people can do quadruples!  So here's a video of me doing an axel, double toe loop combination jump.  :)

I've been working on this jump for a couple months now, but it's hard to get it really really nice.  So I've still got some working to do, but it's coming along.  This was taken yesterday.  :)

Thanks for watching!

  2. Hi Alyssa, you look pretty amazing. I'm here from the A - Z as recommended by your sister whom I follow (and your mum) so, if you don't mind, I'll follow you as well.

  4. Nice combination jump. I grew up on roller skates but never got up the nerve to do any jumps...I was a bit of a speed demon on my wheels. Keep up the good work with your skating and your blogging.
